Nicholas David is an Associate at Chambers Russell Lawyers, practising exclusively in class actions. His experience spans financial services, consumer and human rights claims, with a particular focus on investigating potential class actions and assessing their prospects of success and potential value.
Nicholas has experience acting on behalf of group members affected by corporate and other conduct, including consumers, superannuation fund members and landowners. He understands that these matters often involve significant financial loss, uncertainty and personal hardship, and approaches his work with care and an understanding of the impact on those affected.
Nicholas has worked on matters before the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Victoria. Prior to joining Chambers Russell Lawyers, he practised at a national law firm specialising in class actions.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Master of Laws from the University of Queensland, together with a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. Nicholas was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and is entered on the High Court of Australia’s roll of practitioners.
