Stephanie Kokiousis is a lawyer at Chambers Russell Lawyers who practices in commercial litigation with a focus on building and construction litigation and strata disputes.
Prior to joining Chambers Russell Lawyers, Stephanie practiced in commercial litigation and insurance law, representing major Australian insurers on litigious and advisory matters with respect to recovery and defended motor vehicle and property damage claims. Her experience also includes debt recovery and enforcement and spans across various jurisdictions including the Small Claims Division and General Division in the Local Court of New South Wales, Magistrates Court of Western Australia and Magistrates Court of Queensland.
Before moving into private practice, Stephanie worked at one of Australasia’s leading financial advisory and accounting firms, in a managerial role, where she was primarily responsible for managing the dispute resolution team, overseeing the risk management framework and partnering with business leaders to implement effective risk controls.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Finance) (Distinction) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Wollongong and is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales.
