Tim has been practising law for over 26 years. Prior to joining Chambers Russell he has been a Partner of various law firms, including top tier and leading specialist firms, since 2006. Tim is one of Australia’s pre-eminent strata lawyers and is internationally renowned.
He is President of the Australian College of Strata Lawyers and a Fellow of the College.
Tim is Immediate Past President, Vice President and an Honorary Life Fellow of Strata Community Australia (Victoria). He chairs the Advocacy Committee and sits on the Education Committee. He previously served as a Board Member of Strata Community Australasia (National).
He sits on the Property Law Committee and the Property Dispute Resolution Committee of the Law Institute of Victoria. He is an inaugural member of the Owners Corporation Working Group.
Tim has been selected in Best Lawyers in Australia nine (9) times.

Tim has conducted over 400 seminars domestically and globally for strata managers, real estate companies, industry associations, banks, insurers, brokers and legal CPD providers. He has guest lectured at RMIT, Deakin University and the University of New South Wales.
Tim is published regularly in the Australian Property Law Bulletin and is a member of the bulletin’s Editorial Panel.
He authored the Owners Corporations chapter of the Lawyers’ Practice Manual and wrote the case study update for the looseleaf service Subdivisions with the Lot.
